I am someone who needs to listen to music when riding in a vehicle. Playlist always changes according to the mood and expressway is the best road to listen to music. Whatever the song I listen and sing a long, most of these bring back memories. As I always think, past is a good place to visit but not a good place to live in. So whatever memories bring back, it helps me with the ride.

That's when "Wish I was your lover by Enrique" started to play on. I am not the most romantic person ever and this could have never worked but there is someone I remember who made me feel good about myself. Someone who I like to believe that loved me deep too though we were never together.

"I watch you when you smile
I watch you when you cry
And I still don't understand
I can't find the way to tell you
I wish I was your lover
I wish that you were mine
Baby I got this feeling
That I just can't hide"

And then the track changed to "I'm gonna be(500 miles) by The Proclaimers. Mostly because of the upbeat music, I always liked the song.

"When I wake up, well I know I'm gonna be,
I'm gonna be the man who wakes up next you
When I go out, yeah I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who goes along with you
If I get drunk, well I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who gets drunk next to you
And if I haver up, yeah I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who's havering to you
But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walks a thousand miles
To fall down at your door"

Related or not, chorus always reminds me of the movie Devdas. Someone who falls down at the door. No doubt that SRK was brilliant in it but the storyline was never my cup of tea. Also, if I am gonna fall down at the door, I'd like to do it in The Proclaimers's way. Fun and upbeat. But then again, I am with someone for whom I'd walk 500 miles and 500 more.
